Lisette van Gils
M&A Jurist
Lisette has worked for BHB Dullemond since November 2020 as an M&A Jurist. She directs the legal team, enabling us to offer our clients an even broader range of services, whether or not they relate to the purchase or sale of a company. Among her many talents, Lisette is skilled at drafting contracts, making decisions and assessing legal risks.
More recently, she has worked as a lawyer and in-house counsel for renowned national and international firms and companies. With her in-depth knowledge of national and international group structures as well as corporate and contract law, Lisette is an all-round and practical Jurist who BHB Dullemond can deploy quickly and at the opportune moment.
Education
BSc and an MSc in Civil Law (Radboud University) and a MSc in Corporate Law (University of Amsterdam). Professional training in law and various continuing education courses, such as the International Law Practise programme (Law Firm School), an in-depth course on Fund Structuring and Fund Supervision (2019) and Assisting Investment Funds (2018).
Professional experience
After her studies, Lisette began working as a lawyer in the M&A Department at a major law firm in the Zuid-As, Amsterdam's business district. After completing her professional training in 2012, she has worked for major corporate service providers. Initially as a Company Lawyer, before taking on a position as a Legal Manager. Before making the switch to BHB Dullemond, Lisette worked for four years as the head of Legal for the financial firm Circle Partners.
Hobbies and passions
Lisette likes to make the most of her free time by spending it with her family, dining out or curling up with a good book. She is also energised by travel and meeting new people.
